About

“If we practice the science of yoga, which is useful to the entire human community and which yields happiness both here and hereafter – if we practice it without fail, we will then attain physical, mental and spiritual happiness, and our minds will flood towards the Self.”
– Pattabhi Jois

Evolve Yoga was founded in the Summer of 2016 with the greatest intention of sharing the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method with the Denver community. With a schedule that combines traditional Ashtanga based classes with the more modern and popular Rocket series and offers plenty of Vinyasa flow and restorative practices, Evolve caters both to the advanced Ashtangi as well as to the curious novice.

As Denver’s first and only Rocket Shala, Evolve hopes to start a Revolution throughout the Denver yoga scene. Overwhelmed by ‘factory’ like yoga studios that treat students as a product rather than an individual, Denver was severely in need of a Shala that values patience, commitment and a personalized experience. Offering smaller class sizes, more time between classes, dedicated and educated teachers, community events, a lounge, a reading room and an urban garden and patio, Evolve is now the ideal location for personal and communal growth, both on and off the mat. In Sanskrit, Shala means Home. The Evolve Yoga Shala is a Home for the entire South Broadway Community.

As our journey continues to spread knowledge about the benefits of a consistent and dedicated yoga practice, the entire Evolve Family is committed to helping each student reach their full potential as a yogi and as a human. We promise to maintain the utmost respect for each and every individual as we honor the traditional yogic methods while we introduce the Rocket practice to Denver. Our mission is to practice more yoga, create more happiness and contribute to positive community development!
